Our Dot Matrix cards were our first venture into publishing our own work.
Printed in a choice of pink or blue the design allowed the buyer to push-out the dots to make any five letter word. We sold over 3500 cards to The Design Museum, The Royal Academy, The V&A and The Arnolfini in Bristol.
We’ve always tried to create wonderful cards to amuse clients and friends at christmas.
The tree on the left was singer-sewn and hand-cut with a scalpel in what proved to be a marathon making session. The push-put deer was a collaboration with one of our favourite printers who had just introduced white digital ink. We’ve had messages to say that our cards are packed away and resurrected annually with the christmas decorations. We don’t think there could be any greater accolade.
These letterpress sunflower seed packets, designed to herald spring, were sent to introduce ourselves to people we would like to work with. The surface design on the sugar sifter is just one of a whole range of products we’ve helped to develop for heritage homewares brand Tala.
