Description

Stable Garage, Broadstairs, from a pastel drawing by Andrew Barrass. Available as a fine art giclee print in a limited edition of 50.

This is a drawing of a garage forecourt in Broadstairs, Kent, with a blue plaque stating: ‘allegedly where Charles Dickens stabled his horses’. The links between Dickens and Broadstairs are well documented but this building does not look old enough to be Dickensian. Local history indicates the building used to be a stable and in the sixties became C B Attride, motor engineers, it is no longer trading and is now a private garage.

The drawing of Stable Garage is reproduced using fine art giclee printing onto a 200gsm museum-quality heavyweight fine art print material with a smooth, clean finish. The matte finish emphasises different highlights and tones in the source artworks; helping to create stunning works of art that perfectly echo the original drawing medium.

The prints is available in one size: 40cm x 40cm (16″ x 16″)
